My birthday was extra special today after having all my girls pass their test on Monday and Tuesday 💜💜💗💗

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to Jamie, Amaya, Carrie and Neve 🥳🥳 They drove so well, and Carrie even managed a clean sheet! So proud of each and every one of you! Will miss you all

The campaign to protect young drivers and strengthen the driver licensing system in Britain has continued to see great momentum throughout April, with lots of discussion around what the Government need to do to reduce road death and injury caused by this at-risk group. Earlier this month we published our latest piece of research on the subject, our Young Driver Safety Report, and we're delighted by the reception it's had. We support changes that are backed by strong evidence and this report outlines both how we can reduce young drivers crashes, and the strong public support for the changes needed.

This report was written by Brake and supported throughout by an academic advisory panel comprising Dr Ian Greenwood, who has campaigned to prevent collisions involving young drivers since his daughter Alice, 12, died in a crash; Dr Shaun Helman, chief scientist, behavioural sciences at TRL; Dr Neale Kinnear, chartered psychologist and behavioural scientist at Affective Mobility Ltd; and Dr Sarah Jones, consultant in environmental public health with Public Health Wales.
