Whitby Steampunk Weekend XX
Whitby Pavilion 25th & 26th July

The wonderful edifice, the temple of entertainment that is Whitby Pavilion, is literally built into the side of the cliff.

Wi-fi can be notoriously unpredictable because of this, and there is to my knowledge only a few cash machines available that are in the town centre, near The Angel Wetherspoons, Heron Foodstore on Baxtergate and The Co-op next to the train station.

Therefore, a tip is if you have the opportunity to bring cash to purchase items from our lovely stall holders, it would certainly take away the potential frustration of uncooperative card machines, and you may even be witness to a rare phenomenon that is a happy dance by said trader...or not, maybe...who knows!

Gears, Goggles and Glorious Outfits Are Taking Over Whitby ⚙️🎩

Whitby Steampunk Weekend returns this weekend, from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July 2026, bringing three days of gears, goggles, spectacular costumes and Victorian-inspired fun.

Explore around 70 artisan and alternative traders at Whitby Pavilion, selling everything from clothing and jewellery to handmade gadgets and curious creations. There’ll also be live entertainment, evening concerts and plenty of incredible outfits around town.

Daytime entry is free, with most activities held indoors—so the fun continues whatever the weather!

Whether you arrive dressed to impress or simply fancy seeing what it’s all about, everyone is welcome.
