Yesterday saw the first Whale sighting of the year off Yorkshire, large numbers of Minke Whales migrate to Yorkshire seas each summer. Mid summer can see gatherings of 30+ feeding off Whitby and Staithes. Library photo Stuart Baines Scarborough Porpoise editor

Today’s Treasures! I found these 3 beauties while walking the dogs on the foreshore,at this mornings low tide. All were empty shells, so no creatures were harmed.

When going out beach combing always check the tides and keep well away from the crumbling cliffs ! 🙏
