Spent an enjoyable evening last night in Whitby watching The Haunting of Blaine Manor. It was my first time in the Pavilion Theatre which is positioned above West Cliff, a short evening stroll from Periwinkle Cottage. For those that haven’t been inside the theatre, its an intimate place with less than 300 seats and is what I imagine theatres and cinema’s would have been like in the sixties (… and that’s a positive thing by the way - the leg room is 1st class!). The play itself was excellent and I’ll definitely be back.

Later in the year (July 22nd), the Pavilion theatre has Diane’s Deli: A tale from Paradise Heights which is written and directed by the same Joe O’Byrne. Going by my evening last night, highly recommend.
