Simple but effective way to improve ankle dorsiflexion, a movement used often for example when running 🏃‍♀️ , squatting🏋️, landing from a jump or even simply walking 🚶‍♀️

HEAT 🔥 vs COLD 🧊

Often we get confused about whether to use heat or cold for an injury, swipe through for a brief overview of the effects of each!

⚠️Please consult a healthcare proffessional about what will be suitable to you specifically⚠️

🔥 HEAT- Dilates blood vessels (Vasodilation), relaxes muscles and alleviates pain
🧊ICE- Constricts blood vessels (Vasoconstriction)reducing swelling/ inflammation and numb pain

NOTE: -Cover both heat/ cold with a thin towel to avoid frostbite🥶/heat burn 🥵
-Don’t use heat in areas where you lack sensation in that area of the body, or have poor circulation (e.g Diabetes)
