This project involved the full end-to-end setup of a high-impact video wall, including screen mounting, signal distribution, content alignment, and final calibration to ensure high definition visuals across all displays. Every detail was planned and executed to deliver a reliable, polished result that looks great and performs flawlessly.

Two of our favourite jobs so far this month.

The first is a network access point wiring set up in a learning space. Connecting back to a network switch. 50” screen install with a 5m twin hdmi loom meaning the clients laptop screen can be shared onto the screen at the front for everyone to see.

The second is a motorised drop down street with an Epson projector wired to a face place at low level for connectivity with image and audio run over HDbaseT to ensure crisp responsive image and sound when sourced from a laptop.

Another CCTV Installation Completed!

Yesterday we installed three high-quality CCTV cameras on a domestic property, giving the homeowner complete peace of mind. With full HD coverage, night-vision, and remote viewing straight from their phone, they can now keep an eye on their home anytime, anywhere.

📹 NVR vs DVR … What’s the Difference?

When setting up a CCTV system, one of the first choices you’ll make is between an NVR (Network Video Recorder) and a DVR (Digital Video Recorder).

Both record your footage l but the way they do it is totally different!

🖥️ NVR (Network Video Recorder)

• Works with IP cameras
• Video is processed at the camera
• Uses Ethernet cables (PoE capable)
• Supports HD & 4K quality

📺 DVR (Digital Video Recorder)

• Works with analogue CCTV cameras
• Video is processed at the recorder
• Uses coaxial cables
• More limited resolution

💡 Quick tip:
If you want high-definition footage, modern smart detection, and simpler cabling go for an NVR system.

If you’re upgrading an older system and keeping existing cables, a DVR setup can still do the job.
