Go Auto - Driving Lessons

Well well well… Would you believe the top pic is here in Yorkshire it’s 32 degrees and the lake is a balmy 19. Falling in feels necessary just to cool off. Whilst in comparison, my actual abroad holiday two weeks ago was the below picture, a lovely 3 degrees in Norway…. 😂😂

Thought I’d do a little about me again for those who haven’t met me yet.
I’m Chloe, I’m born and bred in good old Wakefield. I live in one of the villages between Wakie and Ponte and the majority of my customers come from the surrounding area of Ponte/5 towns/SESKU etc.

I’ve been a driving instructor for… TEN YEARS! 😱 started out teaching in 2016 with a fiat 500 😅

I teach everything from cars to ambulances to articulated lorrys.

I stopped teaching manual transmission however back in 2022 due to a high demand for automatic and i now teach in a Kia Niro.

I’m a, lets be kind and say low to mid 30s.. mum to one nearly teenage daughter.

My daughter is Deaf and Autistic. I’ve got 12 years experience living with my little ‘tism (said lovingly) and I home educate her since she left primary school too.

I’ve undergone various CPD in my time including a level 3 teaching and training qualification, anxiety workshops, autism and ADHD awareness training and mental health first aid and general first aid at work courses.
I also hold level one in BSL and can and do teach BSL users to drive.

Because of the above I’m very well versed in teaching the neurodivergent. I’m also one many come to when they’re suffering with Anxiety.

Thankfully for my business sake, I’m often very busy and getting booked in with me can take a few months on the waiting list.
I do post slots on here when they do come up so do drop a follow to ensure you see them if you’re interested.

I don’t currently have anything available but I have some tests coming up and all being well I will have room for a couple new people!
Please note I only currently work Wednesday/Thursday/Friday and my last slot starts at 4.30pm.

If I’m not working, you’ll find me educating my small person, spending time with my two cats and my golden retriever, flying my plane, doing a bit of cosy gaming or out with my daughter and my fella on our paddleboards!

Just a heads up, I am currently enjoying some well earnt adventures cruising towards Norway.

Did you know it’s included in the ADI code of conduct that instructors should be recording student progress? Think about it, schools send home report cards, why wouldn’t you want transparency about where you are up to in your learning journey!?

I’m super excited about how smooth this system is and how it seemlessly intregrates the fantastic ‘Learn to Drive App’ - a tool I’ve been using for a long time now for my visual learners!
