FREC 3 – Penultimate Day

Despite the heat over the last few days, the group have shown outstanding commitment and determination throughout the course.
They've worked hard developing their assessment, decision-making and practical casualty management skills, tackling everything from medical emergencies to traumatic injuries with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Tomorrow is the final day, where it's all brought together through realistic scenarios designed to assess the knowledge and skills they've developed over the week.

It's always rewarding to see learners grow in confidence as they prepare to take on the role of a First Response Emergency Care provider.

Teamwork in action on Day 5 of our FREC course at Optimal HQ in Devon.

Our learners are putting their skills into practice through realistic casualty care scenarios, developing the confidence, communication, and clinical decision-making needed to respond effectively in emergency situations. Training under pressure, supporting each other, and applying evidence-based care are all key elements of becoming a competent First Response Emergency Care provider.
