🌞🏎️ Hot weekend and hot times! 🏎️🌞

The British Hillclimb Championship returned to Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb for the bank holiday weekend. The event had a great vibe all weekend with everyone enjoying the sunshine.

Tom Weaver competing for the first time in the father/son Evo 3 was quick to settle into their new car. An excellent drive rewarded with second in class for 1100cc.

In the 1600cc class it was fiercely fought out all weekend. The Greenen brothers (Evo3) kicking their season off started super strong while Jason Tunnicliffe (Evo 3) was out to show that boost is faster. The three drivers pushing each other harder on every run. Saturday saw Andy Greenen fastest and scored a point from the first run off leaving Jason and Adam 11th & 12th just out of the points. Game on Sunday the battle continued with great camaraderie between the Evo 3 drivers. Jason improving upon his personal best all weekend took the top spot just pipping Andy who was followed closely by Adam.
Jason and Andy took to the hill for the last run off, this Jason scoring his British point this year.

While racing further afield was contested at Fintray for the SSHC - Scottish Sprint and Hillclimb Championship. Gary Warren racing his newly acquired Evo 2 is in fantastic form. Gary was pushing the limit of grip won the 1100cc class and smashing the class record! FTD landed at Gary's feet on the Saturday but sadly lost out on Sundays FTD by a blink of an eye 9 thousandths.
