🌎We’re pleased to be co-sponsoring Dubai’s first “Water Drinks” event this evening and our MD, Andy Blackhall and Head of Academy, Nicola Richter are in attendance and enjoying speaking to like minded people from organisations wanting to create a better water future.

🤝This event brings together water industry professionals and encourages networking to discuss key challenges and innovative solutions in the sector.

📈WRc remains committed to contributing to the advances in the Middle East water industry, and events like these are invaluable for exchanging ideas and advancing our field.

💬As Jennifer Möller-Gulland puts it: “This is a great opportunity to meet people from different areas from the water space to create a foundation for collective action to address our challenges"

🌊 In the latest edition of The Water Magazine, you can read all about Eyes on the Water, a pioneering project that uses AI to revolutionise river health monitoring.

🤝This groundbreaking initiative is a collaborative effort led by WRc’s Amy Jones alongside Rain++ and NTU students, with funding from Natural England.

📸Thousands of citizen-submitted photos were analysed using advanced AI models to identify pollution sources, wildlife presence, and other key indicators of river health.

💡By automating the analysis of visual data, AI enables more frequent, accurate, and cost-effective monitoring, supplementing traditional methods.
