This here is the Lesser bloody-nosed beetle (Timarcha goettingensis) which looks almost identical to the regular Bloody-nosed beetle (Timarcha tenebricosa) but is actually much smaller (about half the size), which means you're far more likely to get a nice shot of one perched on some grass seed, like this one here 😁
