Another great day in Carshalton with the Sutton Conservatives team! 💪

When I was the MP for Carshalton and Wallington I fought vehemently against the expansion of the Beddington Incinerator, something the Lib Dems are not only failing to carry on, but instead are back to ignoring its impact on the local community after giving it approval in the first place.

The Environment Agency has said it is minded to approve the latest application for expansion, but I still fail to see why this should be approved. We cannot ask local residents to put up with the additional emissions, vehicle movements or disruption.

Please sign this petition calling for a halt to this expansion, plans to establish a SUEZ Food Waste Plant and the continued growth of the SDEN Heat Network. For once, residents must be listened to!

Kemi destroyed Reeves' budget in the House of Commons today. Just look at Rachel's face at the end of this 🫣 Her budget's been exposed for what it is: Raising taxes on hard-working people to pay for more benefits.

What a year it’s been!

Representing Carshalton and Wallington continues to have been one of the biggest, if not the biggest, honours of my life.

I was so proud of what we achieved together through that time - progress that’s now been destroyed by Labour and the Lib Dems. St Helier betrayed. Humiliating u-turns on winter fuel, r**e gangs and more. Lazy Lib Dems barely bothering to turn up to vote. They have let our community down and you deserve better.

For me, I’m happy to be doing something I love (there really is a life after Parliament)! Life goes on and I’m enjoying my new adventures. I’m still doing my little bit to try and stand up for our community.

Who knows what the future holds, but I’ll always be grateful for the opportunity this community gave me to be their local champion - thank you ❤️
