The school holidays are fast approaching! We'll be sharing some brilliant free/affordable events happening across our vibrant North East to keep the family entertained and feeling creative!

Our next recommendation is Stockton International Riverside Festival happening Friday 31 July, Saturday 1 August and Sunday 2 August 2026! SIRF transforms Stockton town centre into a vibrant stage, filled with spectacular performances, extraordinary artists and unforgettable experiences. And it's completely free!

The Stitching Sunderland Story Exhibition is coming up this Saturday!

Come along to Thompson Park Community Association and see the brilliant quilt local participants have made, as well as selected work by local artists, makers, crafters, hobbyists, and creative local residents.

There'll also be family-friendly creative activities, refreshments, and a chance to meet some brilliant local artists, makes, and neighbours!

First up is what looks to be a brilliant Family Fun Day at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music happening tomorrow! It's completely FREE and there's plenty to get involved with, including storytelling sessions, a roaming magician, bubbles bigger than the bairns and of course, wonderful music and activities!
