One of the biggest misconceptions in rendering and plastering is that weather delays are simply an inconvenience.

They’re not.

When we say conditions aren’t right, it’s not because we’re dragging our feet or looking for excuses. It’s because the quality of the finished job depends on it.

🌧️ Rain can damage fresh render before it has a chance to set.

☀️ High temperatures can dry materials too quickly, leading to cracks.

💨 Strong winds can affect curing and reduce adhesion.

❄️ Frost can cause serious damage before the finish has fully hardened.

The reality is, nobody wants the project completed more than we do.

We want:

✅ A flawless finish
✅ Happy customers
✅ A job we’re proud to put our name to
✅ To get paid and move on to the next project

Cutting corners to beat the weather might save a few days now, but it can create much bigger problems later.

So while we always appreciate the brews, biscuits, and a good chat, we’d much rather return when conditions are right than return months later to fix a failed render! 😂
