Laughter isn’t unique to humans. Many animals share this with us, making play vocalisations when playing. From chimps to rats (not that we can hear rats laughter unless we turn down the pitch), 65 species so far found to ‘laugh’. Laughter plays an important role in social bonding for animals just as it does for humans. With more play & laughter there’s less conflict! I’ve had my dog make laughter like sounds when I tickle & play with her. How about you?
