Our HMO project in Bretton, Peterborough is now complete. We worked closely with our client, architects, building control and relevant authorities to ensure it met all the standards, compliance and regulations required for sign off and handover ✅

An overview of the works:
✓First line installation of steel beams to open up layout to accommodate extension
✓Reconfiguration of downstairs
✓Rear single storey extension built
✓Upstairs walls removed to redesign room layouts
✓Reinstating stud walls for bedrooms and en suites
✓New kitchen fitted
✓New windows installed
✓New composite front door
✓Internal fire doors fitted
✓LVT flooring installed
✓New carpentry
✓Painting and plastering completed throughout
✓A complete re pipe of the property
✓Updated boiler room with new boiler
✓Install of x6 en suites
✓Relocation of main water pipe
✓Installation of radiators with split zoning and separate thermostats
✓Full rewire
✓Full AFDD/RCBO consumer unit
✓New sockets, lighting, bathroom fans, charging points and tv points installed
✓Interlinked smoke detectors
✓PIR lighting
✓Emergency lighting
✓Exterior sockets and lights
✓CCTV installed

Another job completed for a returning customer 🙌

We were asked to help remove the remaining wardrobe left in an alcove. The external walls had been insulated and plastered, but an old built-in wardrobe had been boarded and plastered around.

We carefully removed the remaining wardrobe and discovered the render around the chimney breast had blown, so this was also removed and prepared ready for a fresh coat of plaster. Thanks to John at John Wiles Plastering , as always, the finish is looking spot on.

The final challenge was matching the existing skirting. After plenty of searching, we couldn’t find a close match, but thanks to some great contacts, we had new skirting moulded to replicate the original profile.

Meaning we were able to produce a seamless finish that keeps the character of the home intact and of course no compromise on quality.
