Meeting Between Bread. Most of you should know me pretty well. I don’t accept very many friends because I feel it’s not for me. And of late not a fan of the platform. Almost every FB friend I have known on some level, you are not just a number. But if you are on my FB, it’s because we have some connection. I would love to see if we can still chat more than just likes... I decided to participate in an experience called “Meeting between Bread”. The idea is to see who reads a post without a photo. We are so consumed with technology that we forget the most important thing: good friendship. If no one is reading this message, it will be a short social experiment. But if you finish this till the end, I would love you to comment in ONE WORD about us. For example, a place, an object, a person, a moment in which you remember us. Then copy this post and post it on your page (don’t share) and I’ll go to your page and leave a word that reminds me of you. Please don’t comment if you don’t have time to copy the text. It was tailored one to one sessions where I felt at ease to discuss even the darkest of my demons from years ago which somehow still managed to manifest themselves in who I WAS today.

So am I now perfect? Absolutely not. But I am now, far more aware of my imperfections and how they affect everything from personal relationships to career success. I’m so much more conscious of who I AM today and feel more comfortable with who I WILL BE tomorrow.”

“As a Senior Manager who had settled within an organisation for many years, the reality of impending redundancy came as a shock to me. I was lucky however in that my organisation understood the potential impact that this change would have on me personally and made arrangements for me to have the support of a coach.

This is when I met Kay. I was at a point in my life where redundancy meant the end of the security and familiarity I had known and I saw before me nothing but blankness, uncertain of what the future might hold for me.

Kay worked with me each session through a series of exercises, discussions and homework to tease out of me clarity on what my skills are, what environment suites me and what I want out of work…. and life.

Together we gradually painted a picture of my ideal job and how to get it. I left each session more optimist, more determined, more understanding of myself and better equipped to move forward.
