Waterside Goju Ryu Karate

Following 2 grading sessions at Applemore, it was decided that student Hazel Toman was deserving and was awarded her Junior first dan black belt. Congratulations to Hazel who showed great technical competence throughout the grading and a great fighting spirit in sparring. Hazel is seen in the photo with other club members.

Thursday grading at Applemore. 6 grade to Yellow/white. Isabel, Oliver, Raffy, Seb, Jack and Miles. Isobel grades to full Red belt. The dojo hall was filled with young energy. But with good discipline, they demonstrated what they had learned. The photo shows the young graders with sensei Ben and sensei Justin. Well done to all.

Saturday sessions 11 till 12 noon: Room13 Hythe teens/adults
Sunday sessions, 11.30 till 12.30: Applemore Mixed ages

Kids: from once they start infant school.
Teens includes 12 year olds upwards

There is a Christmas Fayre in the Applemore sports hall Sunday 8th December. So the Karate session will be held in Studio 1. Entry through carpark double doors.
