⭐️IMPORTANT INFORMATION⭐️

Improvements to the way you request GP appointments at Northbrook Group Practice will take effect from 8am Wednesday 4th March 2026.

From this date, patients requesting a GP or in-house Physiotherapy appointment will be asked to complete an online request form. Once submitted, the form will be reviewed (triaged) by a GP, who will decide the most appropriate next step. The practice will then contact you to arrange this, which may include advice, signposting to another service, or booking an appointment if needed.

Appointments with our Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, and chronic disease reviews (such as diabetes, asthma, and COPD) will continue to be booked in the usual way. No form is required for these appointments, and there are no changes to how they are booked.

Sexual Violence Awareness Week is a time to highlight the support that is available for anyone affected by sexual assault or sexual violence, including women and men💟
If you have experienced abuse, are worried about someone else, or need advice on staying safe, confidential help is available through specialist services. This includes medical care, forensic support, and sexual health checks such as STI testing🩺
You may receive emergency alert test notifications on your phone during national testing. Opting out can help some people stay safe, as these alerts override silent and do-not-disturb settings📲
