Tiny Steps Pre-School

At pre-school, we continue to focus on transitions and feelings. With a few of our children heading off to school, what is the best way to be ready for school than to learn about school. The children backed their own bagpacks and lunch boxes, and off to school, they went. They had their lesson, went to lunch, and had the best day 😋.

The children then used the book the colour monster goes to school and coloured spaghetti to talk about our feelings freely and how we might feel when things happen. The children were also able to use the scissors to practice their cutting skills.

The childrens interest in the past few weeks has been performing. So we made the children a stage, gave them some props as microphones, and put on their favourite songs. The children loved dancing and singing, and some children became the audience to watch their friends.

We have a new parents' area.

In this area we have our library and leaflet area. Please help yourselves to both childrens books and adult books and exchange them once you're done reading.

Also, we have a parents notice area for important dates and to update you about your childs day.

Good afternoon, everyone. I hope we are all well and keeping safe in the warm weather.

Photos for this week have been quiet. But we have enjoyed a lot of morning play outside, washing the cars and enjoying water play. Making paint out of Chalk and water to use when marked on the floor and we have done some gardening also.
