DMR Seals KB20-ILS profile is a double acting (Bi-Directional) seal commonly referred to as the Interlocking T-Seal and was primarily designed for wellhead applications and downhole tools used within the Oil and Gas industry.

The seal is comprised of an elastomeric sealing element complete with unique locked-in thermoplastic anti-extrusion rings to help it withstand high pressures and large extrusion/clearance gaps between hardware surfaces. It is manufactured with an interference fit on the inside diameter to provide good static sealing and to help prevent seal roll and spiral failure under reciprocating conditions and is the perfect choice for static and/or stab-in (engage/disengage) applications where separate back-up/anti-extrusion rings may normally become sheared or cause galling of mating metallic components at installation point.
