Had a lovely ride out in the Peak District today.

Get home figure i ought to give the chain a clean as not done it for a while..... up on paddock stand, found wheel a bit sticky when turning.

Obviously needed a scrub, turning much more smoothly now.

I wonder how many miles I had left before something disastrous happened with chain!

I know to anyone that doesn't have a bike "it's just a machine", but to a bike it's not.

It's more personal than a car somehow.

And no, insurance doesn't cover it.
If it gets nicked, owner will always end up or of pocket.
