Tier 3 coronavirus update.

As South Yorkshire enters tier 3 on Saturday I though I should update how we will be operating.

As we are cleaners we can still continue to operate so it’s “business as the new normal”

We already have a procedure we work too so there won’t be much change.

When you book we send you a copy of this procedure and confirm and double check your free of coronavirus symptoms the night before.

As a quick reminder here’s our procedure.

Corona Virus Procedure
We have a COVID-19 procedure in place so I’ll be wearing gloves and a mask and disinfect the area I’m working in after I’ve cleaned. I’ll need to be in the kitchen on my own and if possible have either the exterior door or a window open. Payment can be cash-leave it in the kitchen for me, card-I’ll put the card machine down and step clear whilst you use it or bank transfer-I’ll send you the bank details on the day and then once I’m done I’ll either go back to my van or stand outside and give you a chance to check my work before I leave.

If for any reason you or any members of your household are showing signs of corona virus please let me know and we can rearrange your appointment. Thank you 😊

Our Corona virus Procedure

Due to the Corona virus we are introducing some new steps to keep yourself and myself safe.

I will be carrying hand wash, hand sanitiser and disinfectant with me. I will be wearing gloves and a face mask Whilst I’m in your property.

I know most people offer me a drink, please don’t be offended but at this time I can’t accept. I will be bringing my own cup and teabags so as long as I can use the kettle I can take care of my own drink.

1. I will contact you to let you know I’m on my way either by a phone call, text or facebook.
If at all possible I will need a window or external door open, not because I use strong chemicals but it’s in the government guidelines.

2. When I arrive you can show me to the kitchen and then I have to be left alone, no chatting I know we all love a good chat but everyone’s safety is paramount at this time.

3. I will disinfect the area I’m going to be working in and then set up, check the oven works correctly then dismantle it ready for cleaning then take all the parts out to soak in my specialist cleaning tank then I’ll come back in to carry out the cleaning.

4. Once cleaning is complete I’ll fetch the parts back from my tank, reassemble the oven and clean up where I’ve been working. Once cleaned up I’ll disinfect the area again before I leave.

5. I will let you know I’m finished and then I’ll leave and wait outside till you’ve checked my work and let me know your happy with it.

6. Payment, Please let me know in advance. CASH - please leave it in the kitchen for me before I start and please have the correct money. CARD - I will place my card machine at least 2 meters away from me so you can then use it in the normal way. I will disinfect it before and after you use it. BANK TRANSFER -I will send you the bank details in advance, all I ask is that you make payment before I leave.

Corona Virus 🦠 update
We will be returning to work from Monday 15th June so we are now taking bookings. If your on the waiting list we’ll be in touch over the next couple of days to get you a new appointment slot arranged.

We’ll have to do things a little different to ensure your and my safety and I’ll be posting the new procedures in the next couple of days and pinning it to the top of the page.
