Yesterday tended to this lovely couple, did an adjustment job for them. With this post I would like to throw out there that now in the spring\summer when the temperatures start to rise, UPVC doors begin to have alignment issues because of expansion of the material. If your door is jammed or you need the might of Hercules to lift your handle, it could very well be due to alignment issues caused by the shift in temperatures.

the couple that is in the picture had the top bolt of the door made it difficult to close the hooks of the door, after I shaved off the hole in the top, everything should be well for a while if hopefully not to return.

Last thing, alignment issues are better tended to sooner than later, because when the handle is hard to lift, the overpowering of it every time can cause the gearbox to worm out and break, and gearboxes are the one of the more expensive fixes.

A few days ago this fellow had been locked. It was one of those jobs that went nice and quick, took me 1 minute to pick through his door and he just said "if I knew it was this easy, I would have done so myself." Seems like my lock picking skills are coming along quite great lately.
