Will from Cycling UK reached out to my earlier this week about and awesome programme in which they're offer GM residents aged 16+ the chance to borrow an e-bike, for free, for one month.

Participants book the e-bike they want online, collect it from us at Stretford Public Hall, and return it one month later. The whole loan is free, funded by TfGM – we only take card details in case of damage or non-return of bikes. All our bikes are UK legal electric pedal assist cycles, and are provided with a charger, lock, and a helmet if wanted.

At present about 40% of our loans are to women – and they'd really like to increase this to 50% or higher, so he's reached out to companies like me which is pretty cool!

Here is a bookings link for loans starting Friday 19 September from Stretford Public Hall. This date isn’t public yet so it should have good availability of e-bikes in all sizes.

🌟 🌟 Exciting new opportunity 🌟 🌟

Trafford Community Collective is hosting a new School Street Support Officer post to work alongside our School Streets Officer.

It’s an exciting time to get involved as we work to transition our existing School Streets towards a more sustainable long term model and launch new ones. This will be a varied, fulfilling and creative role in which you’ll immediately see the difference you’re making to enable children to have safer, healthier and more active journeys to school.

Closing date: 7th September. You can find all the details here:
