There are 5 Turkish barber shops within a short walking distance of each other in Runcorn Old Town.
Whilst banks are closing, pubs are disappearing and shops are struggling, Turkish barbers are multiplying, taking over our precious high streets.
Why is no one asking questions about how these businesses are operating and whether they’re even legitimate?
We’ve received complaints from residents living near Viridor in Runcorn regarding the site’s operating doors being left open after lorries tip waste, allowing unpleasant odours to spread into nearby communities.
We will once again contact the Environment Agency to ensure Viridor is held accountable and takes the necessary action to protect local residents, minimise disruption and reduce the impact on public health and quality of life.
I will never be silenced on speaking out over the rising threat of Islamist extremism in this country.
Henry Nowak’s death might have been prevented if the police had not assumed the white guy was the guilty party.
Police judgement at the scene failed and the public deserves to know why.

Fantastic support for Rob Kenyon for Makerfield on the doors this morning. He’ll make a great local MP for his community.
I’ve been made aware that a constituent who asked for my help has previously served time for benefit fraud.
As an MP, I have to take people at face value. My office does not run background checks on constituents who come to us asking for support.
The issues my office assisted with were entirely unrelated to that offence.
Reform UK stands firmly against benefit fraud and abuse of the system. But a responsible MP must deal with each case on its merits and support constituents who ask for help and I will make no apology for that.
Payments to Post Office scandal victims could be delayed by up to another 5 years.
This is a national disgrace, victims deserve justice.
