Salvation Army Rugby

We had a lovely time at the last toddler group until September. The police came and the children loved seeing the police car, and sitting in the car too and sirens and flashing lights.
We said 'bye' to six of our little people and hope they have enjoyed their time with us and wish them so much love and prayers as they go on to school, pre school or nursery

Thank you to Major Julie for conducting our meeting this morning. Her theme was around friendship and the story of the crippled man being lowered through the roof for Jesus to heal him, by his four friends.
The Singing Group (conducted by Aimee) sang 'Let everybody praise his holy name'.
We shared in fellowship after the meeting with tea/coffee and cake.

Thank you to CSM Ian Jones for conducting our meeting this morning. It was a lovely service - his topic being 'Red Hot Christians'.
Ian showed us this picture and asked what we saw. People said, beads, the Faith heart bead, different colours and shapes and also the clasp. He said we couldn't see the cord that kept them together - the same as we can't see the Holy Spirit that keeps us together but he is working in us.
Our corps is like that, many different shapes, sizes, talents, etc, but we work together.
