TAL PA Sound Systems

This day in 1996 I sat in a cafe at the top of the Potemkin steps in Odessa watching sky divers celebrating Ukraine independence day. At the bottom of the steps they were assembling a concert on a ship moored close by. The atmosphere was electric. The zest for freedom was palpable. I had already seen visible signs of what the years of Russian rule had done to Ukraine and could perfectly understand why they dont want it back at any price.
