Help 4 Homeless Veterans

Here we have the MOD armed forces covenant ERS awards for the journey made by Help 4 Homeless Veterans over the past 11 years.

We have been incredibly lucky in the last 2 years to receive support from the highest level of MOD from 2 local MPs both have been/are DEFENCE SECRETARY.

This is after Tom Wood and I visited MOD 3 times nine years ago getting kind words but no financial help.
John Healey remains a good supporter of our charity
and since John stood down as SofS our other long time supporter
Dan Jarvis MP for Barnsley North has offerred his support to our work.

This is particularly relevant as we try to raise enough cash to buy a second Veterans home but in Barnsley.
Dan sent me this message below and his team are now following up with his offer of support:

I am delighted to report this.
Well done everyone.

First meeting too with Cllr Mark Langridge BMBC's new Armed Forces Champion enabling us to brief him on our aim to buy a house in Barnsley to support homeless veterans.
