Fetch Club

Been down to the field this evening to do some training with Havoc. We've worked on some of his physio exercises from as well as some heelwork progress, trialled a new way to teach a face out trick, and developed his cross paws trick.

Thanks to those from Tricks Club who came down to keep me company and play with their own dogs for a couple of hours ❤️

A sunset walk for my boy last night after it finally dropped under 25. I'm sat here at 9 p.m. this evening and it's still 29 🤦‍♀️

Dogs are far more at risk of overheating than humans. They do not sweat the way that we do; rather, they lose heat through panting and through their pads. They are also unable to take off their fur coats.

Despite this, dogs are not always the best at knowing their limits or boundaries. They rely on us to make the right choices to keep them safe.

Your dog does NOT need walking in 30+ degrees. It is dangerous and unnecessary. And if you absolutely do need to nip out with them for whatever reason, keep it short and keep it shaded ❤️
