Sitting within a Georgian manor house currently being renovated, the brief was to respect the architecture while allowing the space to feel calm and relevant today.

The client wanted something that spoke to the period without feeling literal. We chose a braid with a quiet richness — understated in tone, yet detailed enough to reference Georgian craftsmanship.

The fabric itself is deliberately neutral. Its role is not to compete, but to frame the window, soften the space, and allow the colours, fixtures and view beyond to remain the focus.

Balance is everything. Here, the curtains enhance the room’s character rather than distract from it.
