-The front door will continue to remain closed
-We will still require a Covid screen prior to your appointment
We remain open to all registered patients for examinations, treatment and hygienist visits. We look forward to seeing you soon!

We are looking for a hygienist for our friendly, family run dental practice in Redditch. Full nurse support and dedicated hygienist surgery. We are looking for somebody that can work on a Monday and/or Tuesday. Full day / half day and late evening available. The job has only become avaliable as a long standing hygienist has had to reduce hours due to childcare. Please get in touch via messenger or email [email protected] Dentist@Redhouse
Yesterday evening Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a second national lockdown due to the rising number of cases of Covid-19.
Dentist@Redhouse will continue to remain open for urgent/emergency care, hygiene and Denplan appointments during this lockdown. There are no restrictions with regards to medical treatment and you are actively encouraged to keep your appointments. At Dentist@Redhouse we have all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and will continue to follow our high standards in cross infection control.
Please continue to attend your appointments. We have excellent infection control procedures along with a robust triaging policy to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
Stay safe and please contact us if you have any questions.
Kind regards

Dentist@Redhouse – Covid-19 Update
Thank you for your patience while we phase our return back to the new normal. We still only have a limited number of appointments available due to social distancing and we are prioritising urgent and emergency patients.
If you have any dental related issue or problem please contact the practice so that we can discuss this with you and offer you a face to face appointment if suitable. We are able to carry out any procedure that is necessary to maintain and stabilise your dental health.
It will still take some time before services return to normal so please bear with us.
If you wish to book a hygiene appointment or are due one, please contact the practice to arrange an appointment. Even though we may have to delay your routine examination due to the limited number of appointments available with a dentist it’s still important to maintain your oral hygiene. The hygienist will be able to assess your mouth during the appointment and refer you to a dentist at the practice if they think it is necessary.
Please do not attend the practice unless you have an appointment booked.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our surgery. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable.
You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment:
· Our practice will send you a link to some forms via text/email, it is important that all the forms are completed prior to attending the practice. If you have any issues please call us.
· We have hand sanitiser that we will ask you to use when you enter the practice. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the practice for you to use as needed.
· Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
· The dentist and nurse will already have the appropriate PPE on when you attend. Although you may not be able to recognise us with our PPE on, we are the same friendly team that have been looking after you previously.
· Reception will look different with 2 metres between the chairs and a screen on the desk.
We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
How you can help:
• With the exception of children and patients with carers, patients should come alone to the appointment.
• A distance of at least 2 metres must be observed if another patient is present in the dental practice.
• Staff will not greet you by shaking your hand.
• If you show any symptoms before your appointment you should contact the practice by phone.
• Please wait outside the practice or in your car, please let us know you are here by calling us or knocking on the door.
• Please do not arrive at the practice without a booked appointment.
• Patients should come wearing a mask/face covering.
• Please use the toilet facilities at home before your appointment as they will not be available to use at the practice.
We will update you again when we are able to start seeing patients for more routine appointments.
Kind Regards

We are aiming to phase our reopening so are only able to see emergency and urgent patients initially. Any emergency treatments that require us to use the highspeed drill (AGP procedures) will need to be referred to an urgent dental centre if suitable. It will still take some time before services return to normal.

COVID-19 Update:
It is our priority to get back to treating our patients as soon as possible, but as safely as we can. However, we are still awaiting clarity on a number of issues from the government, our governing bodies and the chief dental officer.
We are unable to reopen until it is deemed safe and appropriate for us to do so, with measures in place to protect our patients and team.
We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
Our phone lines are open from 9-5 Monday-Friday for help and advice if you have a dental emergency.
Kind Regards
