Instead of our usual Links Parent Support Group on Thursday 23rd March, we'll be welcoming Maria McSorley from Teaching Hands to deliver a Makaton Workshop.

Makaton is a unique language programme that uses symbols, signs and speech to enable people to communicate and help to stimulate sounds and words. The visual way of communicating helps language development, such as putting words together.

This 2-hour taster workshop at Daisy Chain's main site in Norton is designed as a beginner's guide to Makaton, and Maria will be on hand to answer any questions.
