Last month I had the amazing opportunity to volunteer at for His Last Report, styling hair for some of the cast members.
The show was primarily set in the Edwardian era, and anyone who knows me knows I jumpedddd at the chance because I LOVE this era so much 😂
It was my first time working in theatre, with my role focused purely on hair and with only a short time to get each look done, it was definitely a challenge but such a rewarding and enjoyable one! V proud of how these turned out considering my limited experience working with different hair types 👒

I wanted my location images to look like they were plucked straight from a TV drama, so it was really important to give my characters a story and pick the right people to play them — and I 100% know I did!! I put so much research into their backstory to make sure all my creative decisions were rooted in historical accuracy, and getting to live out my Edwardian dreams through these two characters has honestly been my favourite part. I had to remind myself halfway through that I’m a makeup artist, not an author hahaha
And obviously I had to get a Titanic reference in there somewhere 👀😂
I have loved these characters sooooooo much and even more so because they brought me .hayes_ and 🥰 2 gorgeous humans who I couldn’t have done this without!!
