Founders' Day 2026 brought together pupils, families, staff, governors and Old Pangbournians to celebrate another exceptional year at Pangbourne College.

From recognising outstanding achievements at Prize Giving to the spectacular Parade and Beat Retreat, the day was a fitting tribute to all that makes Pangbourne so special. We said a fond farewell to our Upper Sixth, celebrating their leadership, resilience and the lasting contribution they have made to College life.

A special thank you to our Guest of Honour, Old Pangbournian, Dr Claire Whitehead, whose inspiring return to the College made this year's celebrations even more memorable as we continue to mark 30 years of co-education.

Congratulations to all of our prize winners and best wishes to the Class of 2026 as they begin their next adventure. Once a Pangbournian, always a Pangbournian.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at today’s drinks reception at Henley Royal Regatta.

It was wonderful to see so many members of the Pangbournian Community coming together, catching up with old friends, making new connections and enjoying such a beautiful day by the river.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the occasion such a success. We look forward to seeing you again at future Pangbournian events!

A huge thank you to our wonderful Pangbournian Community, parents and partner organisations for making this year's Lower Sixth Taking Responsibility Week such a memorable and impactful experience.

Your generosity, time and expertise helped our students develop confidence, resilience and essential life skills through a wide range of activities. From sailing and paddleboarding to self-defence training, public speaking workshops and mock interviews, every experience challenged our students to step outside their comfort zones.

We are especially grateful to Adventure Dolphin and West Berkshire Foodbank for welcoming our students and providing such meaningful volunteering opportunities. These experiences gave our Lower Sixth the chance to contribute to the local community while developing teamwork, leadership and a deeper understanding of the difference they can make.

The week concluded with the start of the UCAS application process, helping students prepare for life beyond Sixth Form.

To everyone who gave their time to support our students, thank you. Your encouragement and commitment played a vital role in making Lower Sixth Taking Responsibility Week such a success. 🌟
