I have sadly often seen that, from the gallery of my riding, some look at me with an ironic smile when, after having worked a horse, I give him a lump of sugar.

Probably they think that the gesture lacks manhood! In the same way, people make fun of watching me work horses while listening to music that speaks to my sensibilities.
