This Carers Week we’re drawing attention to the support available to unpaid carers looking after someone in Reading. Many of these incredible people are also holding down jobs at the same time, so we’re encouraging employers to help them maintain a sustainable work/life balance. Royal Berkshire Hospital is an example of a local employer making great concessions to help carers who work for them to thrive, as Karen explains. If you are an employer with carers working for you, please email [email protected] and we can help you put support in place.
