🖤 Ta**us Black Quartzite: Tough, fragile, and absolutely stunning.

This kitchen shows exactly what’s possible when a striking stone is handled with the right technical know-how.

The material is Ta**us Black (Black Fusion) Quartzite in a leathered finish. It looks incredible against those olive cabinets and oak beams, but honestly? It is one of the most demanding and volatile materials a stonemason can work with. It’s incredibly tough, yet surprisingly fragile.

That’s where the right team makes all the difference. To make sure these slabs last a lifetime without cracking, we made a few crucial technical adjustments:

🔹 30mm Upstands
We bumped these up from the standard 20mm to give the stone the extra strength it needs.

🔹 Brushed Edges
Swapped out a standard honed edge for a brushed finish to perfectly match that textured, leathered surface.

🔹 Fiber Mesh Reinforcement
Kept the original structural backing intact to protect those intense, delicate gold veins during the cut and fit.
