It’s almost the end of July, and you know what that means!

Payment on Account (POA)

If you’re due to make a 2nd POA to HMRC for Self-Assessment, the deadline is Thursday 31st July.

‼️ Miss this date, and HMRC will start charging late payment interest immediately.

‼️ Let it go unpaid for 30 days, and you’ll also start incurring penalties.

If you’re unsure on whether you have a POA due, log into your online Personal Tax account with HMRC and have a look.

Or even easier, if an accountant prepared your 2023/24 tax return, just get in touch with them directly.

Yesterday afternoon, we undertook some crucial research (all in the name of science, of course).

While selecting this 2-scoop ice cream sundae (yes, Wallings are very generous with their scoops) there was no hesitation: Kinder Bueno & all-time fave, mint choc chip 😋
