🌱 Year 7 Science in Action! 🌼

Last week, our Year 7 students explored the fascinating world of plant reproduction, learning about the different parts of flowering plants and the vital role each plays in reproduction and the life cycle of a plant.

From identifying stamens, carpels and petals to understanding pollination, fertilisation and seed dispersal, students demonstrated excellent curiosity, thoughtful questioning and brilliant scientific thinking throughout the lesson. 🌿🔬

A reminder that Sports Day is taking place tomorrow! Students have now signed up for their events, and we’re looking forward to another fantastic day. We can't wait to see everyone giving their best and supporting one another throughout the day!

Students should attend school wearing their full PE kit and come prepared for the weather by:
💧 Bringing a water bottle
☀️ Applying sun cream before school (if appropriate)
🧢 Wearing a hat if hot weather is forecast
