Amidst a flurry of menu changes over recent weeks, we decided our longest-standing menu item - our Suet Pudding - deserved to be evolved, not retired. So, before pandemonium ensues, it’s not gone. It’s better.

Now on the à la carte:

Braised beef short rib topped with onion ketchup and crispy onions, mini oxtail & beef shin suet pudding, bone marrow Bordelaise sauce, creamy mash and local organic green beans

It’s hot. Dare we say, too hot. And when it’s hot, the British tend to quietly unravel.

So consider this our intervention.

A cold seafood platter packed with the best of what the sea has to offer, served on ice, because the situation calls for it. Call it a coping mechanism. Call it exactly what the doctor ordered.

Grab a table outside, drink something cold and pink, and let the weekend begin properly.

And because Friday nights deserve a soundtrack, the wonderfully talented Misty Reprise will be joining us from 7pm, bringing their timeless blend of classics and good vibes to the evening.
