Another commercial job completed by the Rooftech Solutions & Preston Roofer team this time at a nursery in Longton.

Works included:
✔️ Slating one side of the roof
✔️ New treated timber battens
✔️ New breathable felt
✔️ Removal of an old redundant chimney stack
✔️ Insulated the loft area to current building regulations

Jobs like these involve far more than just the roofing itself.With extra scaffolding, risk assessments, method statements and additional safety precautions required, everything had to be carefully planned and carried out around the nursery environment.

The work was also completed during half term and in scorching temperatures ☀️🥵 to help minimise disruption while allowing the job to be completed safely and to a high standard.

With the weather we’ve had so far this year, it’s been more waterproofs than sun cream… but we’re not complaining now!
