Plenty going on in the workshop at the moment!

We’ve got a BMW 520 cylinder head in for a full rebuild, a massive Ford Cargo block getting flanged liners fitted, Simons Vauxhall Astra VXR in for a rebuild with upgraded valve springs and brand new valves.

Back into a variety of work at the moment — it’s refreshing to step away from engine builds and get back into some precision machine work.

We’ve had a good mix of jobs in recently. Con rods have been lightened and balance-honed on both the little and big ends. A 4-cylinder John Deere head came in for a full overhaul, while a flywheel was lightened ahead of a complete bottom-end balance. We’ve also had a set of Range Rover SVR cylinder heads in for valve reseating, reshim, and a skim. 🚜🔧
