Ar ddiwrnod olaf Wythnos y Gwirfoddolwyr, hoffem gyhoeddi cyfle gwirfoddoli cyffrous ac unigryw.
Rhwng 16 a 19 Awst, gallwch ymuno â Kingsley Robinson Organ Builder a'r elusen Pipe Up for Pipe Organs i lanhau'r organ bib eiconig lle canwyd yr emyn-dôn fyd enwog, Cwm Rhondda.
Does dim angen profiad neu arbenigedd, dim ond parodrwydd a brwdfrydedd. Gallwch helpu am hanner diwrnod, diwrnod llawn neu sawl diwrnod.
Os ydych chi eisiau clywed mwy am y cyfle hwn a chyfleoedd eraill i wirfoddoli i'n helpu ni drwsio ac adfer Capel Rhondda, e-bostiwch: [email protected]
On the final day of Volunteers' Week, we are pleased to share details of an exciting and unique volunteering opportunity.
Between 16 and 19 August, you can join Abergavenny-based organ builder, Kingsley Robinson and others connected with the charity, Pipe Up for Pipe Organs, to clean the iconic century-old pipe organ on which Bread of Heaven was first played.
You don't need any specific experience or expertise, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get your hands dirty! You could volunteer for a half day, a whole day or several days.
If you'd like to hear more about this and other opportunities to volunteer at Capel Rhondda, please e-mail: [email protected]

Another valued asset at risk of being lost to community access in our locality is the much loved Pop Factory, Porth. "The Pop Factory is more than just a venue, it's where the Valley finds its voice".
Whilst we at Tir Pontypridd aim to deliver our charitable purpose by securing land for the benefit of our community, nature and biodiversity, for many of us community buildings are our vital beating hearts.
If bought by private buyers then the community would lose access and The Pop Factory as we know it could disappear. "The creative energy that's fizzed inside those walls for decades would be gone for good".
When the current owners of The Pop Factory decided to sell the building at a listed sale price of £475,000 a group of artists, organisations and local residents united in their goal to Save The Pop Factory!
The Pop Factory Ltd has been established with the aim of bringing the venue into community ownership, ensuring it continues to serve as a centre of creativity and opportunity. Source: www.thepopfactory.co.uk
An initial Crowdfunder target £250,000 has been set, and The Pop Factory Ltd will endeavour to raise further monies to purchase, maintain and make the building sustainable for generations to come.

Mor ddiolchgar i Kingsley Robinson Organ Builder am gysylltu â ni i gynnig ei amser a'i arbenigedd.
Braint oedd treulio amser gyda Kingsley heddiw yn dysgu am ein horgan bib eiconig. Diolch hefyd i Tim Phipps am ddod draw i'r capel ar fyr rybudd.
Rydym yn edrych 'mlaen at ymweliad nesa' Kingsley ac yn gobeithio cwrdd â mwy o'r unigolion rhyfeddol sy'n rhan o'r elusen Pipe Up for Pipe Organs.
Incredibly grateful to Kingsley Robinson for his generosity in contacting us to offer his time and expertise.
What a privilege to watch Kingsley work today and learn about our iconic pipe organ. He patiently explained the instrument's complex engineering in layman's terms.
Thank you to Tim Phipps for coming over to the chapel at short notice when I realised that I wouldn't retain the information being shared with me!
We're looking forward to Kingsley's next visit and hoping to meet more of the extraordinary individuals who are part of the wonderful charity Pipe Up for Pipe Organs

Roedd yn bleser croesawu Wil Morus Jones, John Llanboidy a Geraint Evans i'r capel y prynhawn 'ma.
Edrychwn ymlaen at y diwrnod pan fydd Wil a Geraint yn gallu canu Cwm Rhondda ar yr organ bib eiconig 🤞
Bydd adferiad yr organ yn gostus iawn. Tybed a fydd yn bosib ei wneud erbyn Tachwedd 2027, i ddathlu 120 o flynyddoedd ers perfformiad cyntaf Cwm Rhondda yn Nhrehopcyn...
Diolch Wil, John and Geraint for visiting Capel Rhondda this afternoon.
Geraint played the organ at Capel Rhondda from the age of 12. Wil was filmed by the BBC playing Cwm Rhondda at his home during our campaign to
Hopefully, before too long, Wil and Geraint will be able to play Cwm Rhondda on the iconic pipe organ.
It would be wonderful to restore it to its former glory by November 2027, in time to mark 120 years since the very first performance of Cwm Rhondda.
