This was a first for me today. Had a customer who had a pressure washing system but wanted to start cleaning windows using his current set up.

The outlet port on the tank went direct to the pressure washer so had to figure out how I could get water supply direct to the pump.

Then he informed about a new product which you can add a port outlet to the tank. This is a Kwiq Fit Outlet.

So today fitted this into the tank which then supply’s water direct to the pump.

It worked a treat.

Morning thought I’d give our customers an update on what is happening in the supply chain.

We have basically received price increases of around 10% on most of our product range.

Goods that are manufactured in China you will see little change as China has protected their own market and any raw material that gets exported out of China has either been stopped or 100-200% price increase.

So this will effect us for example resin which will increase by around £8.00 a bag. The cheep resins you find being sold in the UK there will be little change in the price as they come direct from China. So we will be at a massive disadvantage but our resins are higher quality than what is coming out of China as these are supplied by non resin manufacturers which quality is a very low standard.

Even though prices are going up I would really appreciate your support and fully understand if price is your main concern you decided to shop elsewhere.

There is also a risk of shortages but that is where my main strength is as I have many years of experience in material planning so hopefully we should not run out.

It is going to be a very bumpy ride in he next 6 months and you will see loads of businesses unfortunately closing down.

It will also effect a number of window cleaning supply businesses as China is pushing hard to ship anything into the UK and one thing I am noticing people popping up selling their range of poles. Then claiming all sort of things when in fact they have been mislead by the seller. Buying from China is a maze and many a company has gone bust unless you do your research and know where to do it. There is also a lot of corruption going on.

How many have you seen adverts on Facebook stating ditch your window cleaner and buy this cheep pole which will do the job. These adverts are coining out with the UK and will increase and will target the window cleaning industry.

Not the news everyone wants to hear but unfortunately this is the reality.

Comments we have heard, cleans better, windows look shinier, no spotting, last longer than all other resins including Tulsion MB-115.

This is because the purity of water is a lot higher which is measured in microsiemans. This is commonly used for the production of contact lenses where water has to be of the highest purity.
