IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TRAVELLING TO THE UK
Starting April 2, 2025, all non-visa nationals visiting the UK will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). This includes citizens of the European Union (EU).
Who needs an ETA?
• Citizens of countries that don't need visas to visit the UK
• Travelers from the EU who are visiting for tourism, business, study, or other short-term activities
How to apply
Fill out an online form and Pay a fee of £10.
What's in it for me?
• The ETA is linked to your passport
• It allows multiple entries to the UK for stays of up to six months
• It's valid for two years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first
To apply for an ETA, applicants need to:
• Pay a fee
• Provide contact and passport details
• Provide a valid photo, complying with our rules for digital photos on GOV.UK
• Answer a set of questions
People must travel using the same passport they used when they applied for an ETA.

• Validity: 2 years or until passport expiry
• Multiple trips: You can use the ETA for multiple visits to the UK within its validity period
