Spring equinox celebrations! I'm so excited for the warmer weather! We made an alter to appreciate just how amazing nature is. Which branched off into loose part play. This face is amazing 😍. We discussed all the different ways spring equinox is celebrated globally.
My personal favourites are 'Holi' in North India where people throw colourful powdered paint around.
Bosnia where they celebrate with a 'festival of scrambled eggs'.
And finally Gloucester's cheese rolling competition down a hill. 😆

Old McDonald theme for one of the children's last day. When I tell you my livingroom looked like a stable after this, I am not lying 🤣 the children had a ball!

Dandelion play doh!
Yesterday morning started out with a lovely walk. We spotted dandelions in every stage of their cycle. The children seemed interested so we collected some and discussed the importance of leaving the rest for the bees 🐝 we collected little treasures to use alongside the play doh. These are a bit amazing 😍
