Thrive Perth Meadows

Last week, some of our children and their families had a wonderful time taking part in one of Angela’s fantastic Bookbug sessions! Angela recently completed her Bookbug training allowing her to deliver sessions through out the setting to all children and parents 📚💛

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying stories, songs, rhymes and interactive play together. Bookbug sessions are a fantastic way to support children’s early language and communication skills, encourage a love of books and reading, develop listening and concentration, and strengthen the special bond between children and their families through shared experiences.

A huge thank you to Angela for delivering such a fun, engaging and memorable session. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! 🌟

Here at Thrive we offer special discounted extra sessions for periods of time throughout the year whether it be Christmas time and you need a little extra time to go Christmas shopping or your needing to pack for a summer holiday, we are very proud to be able to help with our discounted sessions. We have discounted extra sessions on until September so please speak to the management team or staff within your child room. Look at our home grown fruit and veg! The children have been busy helping their fruits and vegetables grow by watering them and understand what they need to grow. This supports the children’s awareness about the world around them and how to care for it. Well done 👏

Here at Perth meadows our meals are prepped and cooked within the setting. We cater to all dietary requirements and children have a snack card to indicate their dietary needs. We follow setting the table guidance to ensure our meals are nutritious and well balanced and allowing the children to have access to a variety of foods. Children receive three meals a day we offer breakfast which can be cereal, porridge or toast. The children then receive a hot lunch with a pudding twice a week, they also have an afternoon tea ranging from a baked potato to sandwiches with herby wedges as well as frittatas. Our menus are on a four week rota to provide consistency for all children.
