Vennels: Perth’s Little Streets explores the fascinating past and present of the closes, alleys and lanes that have shaped the city for centuries.

Alongside historic objects, discover how today’s streetscapes are evolving through newly commissioned public artworks inspired by the city’s rich heritage—created by artists responding to Perth’s craft traditions in the heart of the city.

🤝 Vennels: Perth’s Little Streets was developed in collaboration with UNESCO Perth City of Craft and Folk Art.

📆 Open seven days a week until 6 September 2026. Entry is free.

Take a journey through Perth’s past on a guided walk filled with fascinating stories. From Viking trade routes to World War II, explore centuries of history and hear about Perth harbour, Cardinal Beaton, John Knox, the Scottish Reformation, Jacobite battles and many other key moments that shaped the city.
