Perth Museum

🚶‍➡️ Have you popped into Perth Museum to visit our new exhibition 'Vennels: Perth’s Little Streets' yet? And did we tell you it's free to visit? 💳️

These glass models were made by Dresden-based glass artists, Leopold & Rudolf Blaschka. In the 1870s, they sold a range of about six hundred models of sea creatures. Later, they switched production to making glass plant models for museums, zoos & aquaria.

Step into Perth’s past on a guided walk through the city’s little streets. Discover stories of trade, craft and local life, from the Meal Vennel excavation to Perth’s newest vennel, and see how the city has shaped the streets you know today.
