We love water play here. We have had a range⌠paddling pools with different items to scoop and pour, trays with bubbly water and our dolls and swim nappies, smaller water boxes with different small scoops in, mouldable soap, water dispensers with cups and tea pots, smaller paddling pools with boats or sea creatures, small coloured tubs with coloured lids to sort but with water in to make them float too, water guns, sprinklers⌠anything to encourage them to keep cool. đ
A huge thank you to all you amazing childminders working hard during this heatwave. From keeping children hydrated and cool to adapting activities and routines, your dedication doesn't go unnoticed.
We' need your inspiration! What are your favourite activities for helping little ones stay cool while still having fun and learning in the warm weather? Share your ideas, photos, and tips below and let's help each other keep the children safe and happy!

It is too easy to compare other babies to your own baby, and wonder what youâre doing wrong. But when it comes to your babyâs sleep, there is no ânormalâ.
Most babies wake often during the night in their first few months and throughout the first year. In fact, around a third of babies will have never slept all night by 12 months.
But this doesnât make the reality of living with sleep deprivation any easier. Even though you were probably expecting some sleepless nights, the reality might be harder than you imagined.
